We reached another milestone today, 300 miles on 5/13 at 3pm. Pretty darn cool! We're still hiking high on the mountain ledges with deep canyons below with roaring water. We've crossed a couple of bridges over gorges, beautiful views.
We wanted to hike more but there aren't any campsites for another 14 miles because of the mountains, and we're lucky we found a gully we could sleep in. Tomorrows weather is rain or snow, should be interesting.
You two have a new follower. I doubt I'll ever be a thru-hiker of the PCT. So, I'm enjoying the trail through your travels and adventures. I live in the Bay Area too, and I'm just a bit older than the both of you. Safe travels!
ReplyDeleteI love reading your adventures. I am totally inspired by the two of you. But, I am curious.... based on the photo of you two on the blog page, which of you is Liz and which is Melinda? I'm guessing Melinda is the taller one?
